This update fixes a couple of issues that affected lenders’ ability to save changes to their automated Statement of Engagement letter. It also resolves a problem when vendors made changes to their Billing Address in their profile. As always, you can find the release notes here, and read on for the highlights.
Improvements to automated Statement of Engagement letters
To increase your team’s efficiency and ultimately reduce turn times, Mercury Network enables lenders to automatically attach your Statement of Engagement letter to appraisal orders based on the type of product being requested. Using a template (either your own or one of those available in the platform) important order details are automatically included in the letter, which frees your staff from having to create a customized letter for every order.
In this release, we fixed an issue that prevented settings from being saved if you chose None selected in the Statement of Engagement drop-down menu in Product Requirements.

Fixed issues in vendor profiles
Mercury Network gives appraisers and other vendors a convenient, centralized way to manage your profile so all your clients can access important details such as your physical and billing address, products and services you offer, and fees.
Of course, this also includes crucial information like license numbers (which are verified with the ASC for appraisers), designations, E&O insurance policies, and geographical coverage. You can even include your W9 information, and soon the platform will verify that with the IRS database to reduce delays at tax time caused by a “fat-fingered” mistake. By maintaining an up-to-date profile, you and your clients save time because there’s no need to provide this information separately for each client… it’s all available to each Mercury Network client in a few clicks.
In this release, we fixed an issue that sometimes prevented changes to the Billing Address (cont) field from being saved or caused the State drop-down menu to be blank.
