In Mercury Network's latest update, we added an option that makes managing the Fee Panel easier for lenders. We also improved the walkthrough tutorials in the platform so they can make better use of images, videos, and other elements for more interactivity. Lenders and appraisers might also notice new elements of the interface related to upcoming accounting automation features. Read on for the highlights and check the release notes for complete details.
New Fee Panel option for lenders
To make vendor management easier, there's a new way to mark a vendor ineligible to receive orders. This is done by selecting a vendor in the Candidate list (before the vendor is added to the Fee Panel) and clicking Mark ineligible. Click here and we'll show you how it works.
Previously, a vendor needed to be added to the Fee Panel before they could be marked ineligible. Based on your feedback, we understand this wasn't an intuitive workflow, which is why this new feature was added. As always, we appreciate hearing about ways to improve the platform, so keep it coming!
Better walkthrough tutorials
To improve your experience when using in-product walkthrough tutorials, we made changes to Mercury Network's security headers. These adjustments enable better step-by-step guidance during onboarding, training new employees, or streamlining your workflow by learning a new feature. At the same time, targeted security headers help keep the platform (and the data in it) secure and reliable. Click here to see a list of walkthrough tutorials for lenders, and here's a list for appraisers and other vendors.
New items related to upcoming accounting automation features
Lenders will see a new set of status folders in Order Management grouped under Direct Deposit. These are part of the upcoming accounting-automation features, so they won't contain any orders right now, but they will soon.
