Improved performance on the Make a Payment page
After the recent redesign of the Make a Payment page, we heard from you about some odd behavior which we fixed in this update. Specifically, there was an issue that occasionally prevented the page from completely loading on the first try, requiring a browser refresh in order to see everything properly. In addition, order searches weren't successful if CC to Vendor wasn't included as an available payment method. Those problems have been resolved, plus we added a notification which AMCs will receive when a payment has been successfully deposited to their account.
Preparing for HouseCanary integration
We put a lot of focus on supporting the workflow needed for the upcoming inclusion of products from HouseCanary in the Alternative Valuations menu. In particular, we worked on the audit trail events you'll see as orders for these products are processed, delivered, revised, etc. We're excited to launch this integration soon, especially because of the interest many of you have expressed in these products.
"Payments" feature pilot program coming soon
The upcoming feature we simply call "Payments" will roll out in a pilot program we're planning to begin in July. This feature will simplify your appraisal accounting by accepting payments from the borrower, then remitting payment directly to the appraiser.
