In this update, we've made several general improvements throughout Mercury, plus we've added a way for vendors to add information about trainees to their Mercury profile, which is part of a new feature coming soon. Read on for the highlights, or see the release notes here.
General improvements
The term "general" doesn't sound very exciting, but the routine maintenance we've completed in this update is vital to keep notifications flowing properly, make sure status updates are timely and accurate, and to ensure reliability. As always, you can look for the specifics in the release notes.
New "appraiser supervisor" feature coming soon
As part of this update, appraisers now have the ability to add info in their Mercury vendor profile about any trainees they're currently supervising. In the near future, any appraiser who has trainees will be designated as a supervisor, so lenders and AMCs can prefer those appraisers. It's important for our industry to have well-trained appraisers with solid field experience, and this is only accomplished if current appraisers share their knowledge with trainees. This feature is designed to encourage and reward appraisers who are shepherding the next generation of valuation experts.
We look forward to enabling the full feature soon, then hearing what you think. In the meantime, keep your feedback and ideas coming to info@mercuryvmp.com.
