Appraisal Scope: Upcoming Changes to the Password Reset Process

We would like to let you know that on May 24, 2023, we will modify the password reset procedure for all Appraisal Scope users, including those with Super Admin permissions. This change is being made to increase platform security, reduce the likelihood of someone accessing your account information without your consent, and strengthen Appraisal Scope's password protections.
The procedure is easy to use and has been a part of the Appraisal Scope platform for a while. A "Reset" button will be prominently displayed next to each user's encrypted password in this update. The user's current password will be invalidated if they select the "Reset" option, and they will receive an email with instructions for changing their password.

Helpful Tip:
Resetting a password will automatically inactivate password reset URLs within emails previously sent to the user. This is by design, as previously sent resets are inactivated for security purposes. If your staff, clients, or vendors report an issue with an expired reset link, reset the password for them again and ask them to click on the most recent password reset email.
